Obama’s Change
New Presidential elect, Barack Obama promised the american people change when he began his campaign many months ago. Will any of these promises find their truths in the reconstruction of our beloved nation? Or will the young, new leader face troubles when attempting to make his much announced change. With a still growing fan base and demographic, more and more people are holding strong with their majority vote. Many people believe Obama will lead this nation to an economic increase in activity, and a boost in our nations overall revenue. For some reasonpeople think this all lies in the hands of Barack but it indeed lies in the hands of our nation and its ability to cut foreign spending and increase in purchasing within american based markets.
Automakers in America are now struggling more than ever in our current economic state and the Japanese import companies are dominating the Automotive market. As of right now GM and Chrysler are in huge amounts of debt trying to keep up with their asian competitors. Barack hasnt made any indication of trying to help boost or aide the American market. The faltering car market is contriburting to our downfall and is causing most of the troubles on wallstreet. No one president can achieve enough alone to remedy the problems we are facing right now.
We continually give Barack Obama way too much credit for things that have yet to have been done. We haven’t seen him in office at all and we wont for a few more months. Without having seen any of his executive power in use we have no room to assume that he is the end-all to Americas problems. And I am in no way discounting the fact that Barack Obama could potentially be a great leader for America. He has a political background and upbringing that could be extremely beneficial when taking on the challenges in the road ahead.
What I am truly proud of is the fact that we finally were able to elect an African American man as the President of The United States. That is what I find most impressive about the election and is why in a sense, I am proud of america. I may not be a Democrat in my morals and views of government, but i see this as a wonderful accomplishment. This is most definitely one of the most historical elections in our history and indeed will be a challenge for this new leader to bring America back to its superpower quota.
Barack Obama is indeed our new President and we have a lot of work to do in order to bring us back to where we need to be economically. Obama may or may not have all the secrets for “Change” but we will most definitely find out this coming January.
